the fourth spoiler from the first ep of shinee’s upcoming album, the story of light, “안영 (you & i)”, is described as an urban song with an r&b sound. kibum personally wrote the lyrics to the song. he says that it is a song for those who have been separated (or parted ways), directly expressing feelings about a young love (or love from younger days) that gives comfort, and doesn’t avoid grief / sadness / sorrow but rather acknowledges it while still sometimes expressing anger. the korean title, “안영”, can be read as both “hello” and “goodbye”. [note: jonghyun was vocal in the past about both liking and finding the word to be interesting.]
